Roger is what makes American Dad as enjoyable as it is. I guess, at times, the supposed B-plot overcasts the main focus of the episode, which is especially hard to do when Roger is at the forefront. But hey, this is animation!Īnd, here we are, more than halfway through this review of a Roger-centric episode and I’ve hardly discussed Roger. In real life, Jeff obviously wouldn’t survive. MacFarlane actually created a similar situation earlier this season, in the Season 8 premiere when Roger skinned Jeff alive. The great thing about animated series is that anything can happen to a character one week and next week you can bring that same character back to the show without anyone really caring. A high school girl points and laughs at Steve and announces that he “stuffs,” the typical joust you would hear about a young girl stuffing her bra.Īlthough Jeff has been sent to a distant planet, I would bet money he is not gone for good from American Dad. Steve gets advice from his mother to stuff ham shanks down his pants and the plan works well, until fatso Barry wants to eat a chunk. MacFarlane delightfully took the typical issue of a young female’s slow development and gave it a male equivalent and the idea provided for many laughs throughout the episode. I just about lost it when he started dancing with his belly butt. Barry grabs his belly, turns it into a front-butt and dances around with it. The funniest moment in the episode comes from Steve’s B-plot story line, when Toshi, Snot and Barry dance around the gym shaking their butts. This is another laugh-out-loud episode from my beloved American Dad series a series that continues to make me laugh in the most unexpected ways. Also, Steve learns that his peers have grown their adult butts, while his remains as flat as a pancake, causing a great deal of ridicule for him at his high school. But, Jeff discovers that Roger is an alien, which forces Stan to choose between killing Roger or Jeff in order to keep the secret under wraps. But when Klaus inquires when that will happen, Stan admits that it probably never will.In last night’s episode, Roger pretends to be Jeff’s imaginary friend in order to freely roam around the house stark naked, after Stan tells Roger he needs to wear disguises while Jeff is around. Stan apologizes and tells him that he'll help him get back to being human. Francine and Hayley knock Klaus out and have the CIA return them to their correct bodies. As Stan is forced onto the jump, Klaus coaches him into allowing his body to take over, but after a few seconds of flight, he crashes and breaks apart. Stan pursues Klaus down the hill, forcing him into a tree and breaking his leg. The family pursues Klaus to the Jump City! ski area, with Stan following him on the lift and begging him not to jump. Klaus insists on keeping Stan's body and leaves to perform his jump, leaving Stan with no other choice than to use Klaus' old human body. At home, Stan protests to Francine over Klaus' abuse of his body, but isn't believed until Stan shows off the body tattoo Klaus got of an elephant. Klaus assures them that he'll switch back after a couple of days, but tells Stan in private that he'll never get his body back.Īs part of his revenge, Klaus abuses Stan's body by smoking, playing with dead animals, sleeping with diseased prostitutes, and doing drugs. Returning home, the family quickly discovers that Klaus stole Stan's body, although they find it amusing after the way Stan has treated Klaus. Klaus get angry and knocks Stan out, stealing his body in the process. Francine finally convinces Stan to take him to the CIA lab, but they discover that the body has been partially defrosted and decomposed by the technicians using it for party ice. Depressed by the prospect of not getting his body back, Klaus tries to commit suicide without luck. He begs Stan to take him to the CIA to recover his body, but Stan puts him off. At home, Stan brags about how well he keeps his body in shape as Klaus discovers the news and shares his secret of a spectacular jump he never got to perform. An expedition discovers Klaus' frozen human body.
